General contracting conditions
These conditions regulate the commercial relationship between MiChef and the customer when purchases are made through www.michef.cat.
Placing an online order implies express acceptance of these conditions and of the consumer and e-commerce regulations applicable at the time.
MiChef may modify these conditions without prior notice. The version in force at the time of purchase will apply to each order.
Online contracting services
Certain sections of the site allow online contracting.
Using those services requires prior reading and acceptance of the general contracting conditions published by MiChef.
User responsibilities
Users must make proper use of the website and provide truthful information in website forms.
Users are also responsible for the use of their credentials and for any use of the site contrary to law, morality, public order, or third-party rights.
Offer, pricing, and availability
MiChef displays available products, their characteristics, and their prices in its online shop, but reserves the right to remove, restock, or modify products without prior notice.
Published prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. If a typographical pricing error exists, MiChef will inform the customer before definitively accepting the order.
Availability may vary according to demand. If a product cannot be supplied, MiChef will notify the customer as soon as possible.
Shipping costs and order delivery
- Shipping cost is not included in the product price and depends on the delivery area.
- MiChef will try to respect the delivery times estimated for each order.
- If the customer detects an issue on delivery, it should be reported at the time of receipt and communicated to MiChef as soon as possible.
- If the issue is detected after receipt and is related to transport, it should be notified within 24 hours.
- MiChef is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect addresses, absence of the recipient, lack of contact phone details, or causes beyond the courier’s control.
- Customers may choose restaurant pickup when that option is available during checkout.
The historical website reference publishes indicative times of around 30 minutes for pickup and 45 minutes for home delivery.
Payment methods and returns
Accepted payments: card via card reader or cash on delivery. Prior notice required for card payments on delivery.
Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated; shipping costs are calculated separately.
For damaged products, incidents must be evidenced and processed through official contact channels.
MiChef will not dispatch an order until payment has been correctly validated whenever the chosen payment method requires it.
Billing and issuance of receipts
This website acts solely as an online platform for managing and receiving restaurant orders. It does not issue invoices, receipts, or any type of tax document for transactions made through the platform.
All billing, as well as accounting and tax obligations arising from orders, are the sole responsibility of the physical restaurant providing the service. If an invoice or any tax documentation is needed, the customer must request it directly from the corresponding restaurant.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
The relationship between the user and MiChef is governed by current Spanish law.
Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Terrassa (Barcelona).
